With the experience of working in underprivileged communities, and receiving training at the world's best public health institute, Dr. Rakhshani envisioned an organization that caters to the needs of the at-risk population through innovation in service delivery and excellence in public health research. Dr. Rakhshani laid the foundation of Precision Developmental Research and Advocacy Consultants (PDRAC) as a sole proprietor venture to deploy innovative approaches for improved and efficient systems to impact lives. Over the years, PDRAC contributed significantly through its valuable efforts to synthesize evidence, evaluate effective public health interventions, and advocate for policy and practice change. In a rapidly changing digital age, and staggering rise in health disparities, there is an unmet need to generate robust evidence for actionable decision making. The leadership of PDRAC realized that to make an impactful dent in the status quo, a consolidated and collaborative approach and strategy are needed. To that and, a PDRAC spin-off, PHC Global (Pvt.) Ltd. was founded by a committed group of like-minded public health experts with the intent of creating a space enabling innovations for improving lives through transforming health and development.
