Dr. Noor Sabah Rakhshani laid the foundation of the organization with a vision of fostering the knowledge and skills Pakistan’s scientists have. Dr. Rakhshani is an accomplished researcher on maternal and child health. Her work focuses on health systems strengthening, governance & leadership. Her approach to systems improvements is through developing structures and process to improve the supply of quality public services and introduce innovations to create demand for health services among communities. She

is a recipient of the Grand Challenges Exploration (GCE), innovations in health award (2012) and the innovator of the Vaccine indicator and Reminder (VIR) band. Her work has been showcased globally by Gates Foundation, BBC World (Urdu Service) and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Feature 2015. As a global health expert, she has conducted research and evaluation studies in Pakistan, Nigeria and North Korea. She has worked as a technical advisor for UNICEF (New York), Nutrition International (Canada), and World Bank Institute (Washington DC). Her passion has been to bring healthcare services to the marginalized communities and has worked with displaced populations, prison inmates and in urban slums of Pakistan.
