Overview
Digital IMNCI Platform for Integrated Management of Newborn and Childhood IllnessesProject Description
In 2021, DTDA, with PHC Global and UNICEF Pakistan, launched a digital IMNCI platform. This combines an
e-learning app and a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) for in-service health workers. The app offers
multimedia modules on key illnesses for children under 5, including COVID-19 management. The CDSS, rooted in
IMNCI and CDC guidelines, aids providers in efficient patient care. An integrated dashboard offers real-time
analytics for healthcare decision-making.
DTDA spearheaded the mobile app development, emphasizing a human-centric, user-friendly design. Collaborating
closely with healthcare professionals, DTDA ensured the training content was both relevant and actionable. In
light of the pandemic, the platform was an agile response to bridge healthcare information gaps.
