Overview
The Health Information Management System (HMIS), developed by DTDA for the Fatima Jinnah Institute of Chest Disease (FJICD), aims to connect healthcare structures, manage healthcare data, and provide web-based interfaces tailored to the specific needs of the client.Project Description
DTDA, in collaboration with FJICD, embarked on the HMIS project to manage a broad spectrum of healthcare data
and streamline various operations including theatre, patient, supply, billing, facility, appointment, staff, and
report management. The HMIS not only handles diverse data but also supports the client with a modular approach,
demonstrating adaptability and flexibility. As part of our solution, we also created a website component to
disseminate educational information, bridging the knowledge gap for patients and healthcare professionals.
DTDA's commitment to a client-centric approach meant the HMIS was tailored specifically to meet the requirements
and challenges faced by FJICD, providing an integrated solution that facilitated fluid communication across
various structures within the healthcare facility.
The HMIS project with FJICD began in February 2023 and was completed in June 2024. However, HMIS as a product is
a continuous endeavor by DTDA, consistently being developed and refined for broader applications.
