Overview
AI SAROSH is a pioneering initiative that brings together a multi-disciplinary approach to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for impactful, evidence-backed interventions in the domain of Sexual, Reproductive, and Maternal Health (SRMH).Project Description
The AI SAROSH project spans from February 2023 till April 2026, impacting the South Asia region, including
Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Our primary activities involved establishing a centralized knowledge hub
for AI applications in SRMH, identifying and facilitating opportunities to enhance existing programs,
awarding and managing projects utilizing AI technologies to address key challenges, fostering knowledge
exchange, and encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
As the tech lead of this project, DTDA is playing a pivotal role in building the AI knowledge hub,
developing the project's website, creating a digital form of the knowledge hub, designing a user-friendly
experience, and providing support in awarding grants. Moreover, we developed a sophisticated reviewer
portal, ensured a human-centric design in the reviewer portal, and collected data to build knowledge bases
and enhance AI applications.
In addition to these, DTDA handled the core AI tasks including the creation of automation processes, AI data
management, supervision of AI solution development, and fostering international collaborations.
